TRAIL CONDITIONS UPDATE THURSDAY MARCH 10TH, 2011 @4:00AM
THE NEW HAMPSHIRE TRAIL DAWGS SNOWMOBILE TRAIL CONDITIONS AS OBSERVED AT 4:00am 3/10/2011:
BASE: 6" TO 18"
NEW SNOW: TRACE TO NONE
WATCH OUT FOR DEER ON OUR TRAIL SYSTEM!!!! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE ESPECIALLY ON TRAIL #15 NORTH AND SOUTH THE DEER ARE WALKING THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAIL.......... BRING YOUR CAMERAS!
Mat and Ed went out grooming the trails in the tucker lastnight and arrive back at the yard at 4:00am. This was a task as we filled and packed waterbars the best we could. The trails were extreamly smooth otherwise despite the rain we had. Trails did take a beating from the rain but our base held up AWESOME!!
Watch out for waterbars that were filled in, they may open up quickly.
THE LOOP TRAILS:
The range road loops are in nice shape but USE CAUTION as there were a couple water bars we had trouble filling in due to lack of snow to fill them with. Other than this small inconvience...... smooth as a glass!
TRAIL#15:
Trail looks great, near horse farm there is a few exposed rocks, USE CAUTION and it wont be an issue. Couple bare spots cresting the hills but we did our best to drag snow to the top and feather the snow out making it a nice bright white cover again. This is not the time of year when you can use your sled to the max, slow down and enjoy our trail system. and as said above.....Other than these small inconviences...... smooth as a glass!
ALSO:
WATCH FOR ICE UNDER SNOW AND IN CORNERS THAT WE PULLED SNOW ONTO TO COVER AND SMOOTH THE ICY CORNERS .
DON'T BE SUPRISED !
GET OUT THERE AND ENJOY WHAT WE HAVE DONE FOR YOU!!!! SEE YOU ON THE TRAILS!!!!!!
