Trail Conditions 3/13

Trail conditions are now Fair to Poor. Over all coverage is good to poor, but is mostly very hard snow or ice. The 7th range road section of Trail 15 has many bear spots, there is a small side trail about a mile up from Rt 28 and takes you back to trail 15 it has good snow. The northern cut across trail between 6th and 7th range has many bear spots on the high sunny sections. The 7th Range Rd water bar is now open just north the Trail 15 intersection. Hardy Rds paved sections is bear so you'll have one ski on pavement there. The sections before the live and let live is bear and rocky. The hill on the north side of Hutchins Rd is bear. I didn't make it up to the short falls sections of the trail last night but if that is bear we may need to close the trail soon.
